A Secluded Beach...

A secluded beach panorama

Panoramic view of a totally secluded and peaceful beach.

Horizontal 180° Pamorama: 12 frames portrait, manual camera settings.
Camera: Canon EOS 50D
Lens: Canon 17-85 IS USM
ISO: 200
Exposure: 1/160 sec
Aperture: 16.0
Focal Length: 38mm (60.8mm)

Sea waves are not static by all means. Therefore, I find most difficult to present a seamless stitching of a panorama which includes a close view of sea and sea waves. If you enlarge the panorama in the following Photosynth, you may notice a discontinuation of the waves, in the stitching between the frames.

The above panorama was shot while testing the Sunwayfoto DDP-64MX panoramic indexing rotator, which is very helpful moving faster via its click stops. However, no mater how fast you can turn the camera and shoot, there will always be some inconsistency due to wave patterns moving.

All Photos were shot in RAW and post processed in Canon's DPP (Digital Photo Professional).
Thank you for viewing.
