Superseding the Sunwayfoto T1A11 Aluminum Table Top Tripod released only a few months ago, Sunwayfoto introduced an updated Mk II version of the T1A11 aluminum tabletop mini tripod adding some very interesting and versatile features after public demand.
The T1A11 successor is almost identical at first sight but at closer look you may see the differentiation on the legs tubes and their hings on the spider.
As requested by many users, now the legs lock in upper and lower positions with a simple twist of ring on the mounting platform perimeter.

Oherwise, the design has inherited most from the previous model. The mounting platform remains more massive and rounded, while the legs aluminum tubes are straight up until the spider missing the diamond pattern rings of T1A11 legs on the uppermost section.
The bell-shaped rubber feet on the legs are the same too and the maximum load remains at 20 kg.

Nonetheless, there is a small change quite invisible but very convenient in use. The top platform stud is dual. There is a spring loaded outer sleeve with a 3/8"-16 thread, which when pressed reveals a thinner 1/4"-20 stud inside. It is far more convenient to have both threads without a separate reducer bushing, minimizing the chances of removing it and loosing it accidentally.

Should it be mentioned once again that according to the Sunwayfoto quality standards, the T1A11 II is made of Aircraft grade Aluminium is hard coat anodized with improved abrasion and corrosion resistance.
Available Packages
According to Sunwayfoto, the T1A11 II is offered as a stand alone unit, but also bundled as a combo firstly with the CPC-01 mobile phone bracket and secondly combined with the XB-28 Low Profile ball head.
Somehow, not all of these configurations will be introduced in the US and EU markets.
