Food and Product Photography - Olives...

Some samples from a recent shooting session of olives and olive-products I made for a good friend.

The lighting fixtures used for this session were three halogen flood-lights. The hard light nature of the flood-lights offered the desired higher contrast and glow in order to enhance the 3-dimensionality of the products.
One key light was set at 45° on the right, one above the products and third was aimed to the off-white backdrop exactly behind the products. Positioning the last one was very critical in illuminating the contents of the jars which otherwise were dark and dull.
