The conversion set is addressed to the new Manfrotto MHXPRO-3WG 3 Way Geared Head, which as all the recent MHXPRO heads features the popular classic RC2 Quick Release System.
The Hejnar set contains a custom adapter plate and the Hejnar PHOTO F62b Arca-Swiss® compatible Quick Release clamp.
Owners of the brand new Manfrotto® MHXPRO-3WG Geared head wishing to take advantage of the vast number of Arca-Swiss® compatible L brackets, rails, plates and accessories, may do so by removing the current RC2 Rapid Connect mechanism from the 3Way head, and replacing it with the contents of the Hejnar Kit.
The Conversion Set
The set contains all necessary parts, screws and tools for the conversion. But basically the custom adapter plate and the Hejnar F62b Quick Release clamp.

| The conversion plate has two levels. The lower level is inserted into the socket of the RC2 plate and the top platform accepts the F62b QR clamp. There are two tapped 1/4"-20 holes, one for mounting the conversion plate onto the 3WG head and one that corresponds to the center hole of the clamp. There are also three 10-32 tapped holes placed around the central 1/4-20 hole in 90 degree increments and a distance of 30 mm across each other. These smaller holes correspond to the side holes of the F62b QR clamp enabling its alignment and reorientation by 90° on the head. |

Following the norm of all Hejnar QR clamps, the F62b is compatible with Kirk®, R.R.S.®, Arca-Swiss®, and many other Arca style Quick Release plates and rails.
As an add-on unit, it can play different roles being used independently, i.e. mounted on another ball head and/or other equipment at will.

The Conversion Process
The conversion process is simple for anyone with a little experience with tools who only needs to follow the included illustrated instructions. Yet completely reversible.

| Since the conversion only involves the unscrewing and removal of the lock lever and the safety lever of the RC2 Rapid Connect mechanism. |
Consequently the attachment of the MHXPRO-3WG Conversion Plate is done by two screws taking their place.

Then the F62b QR Clamp is further attached by a couple of screws on top of the adapter plate.
It's up to the end user to decide on the orientation of the F62b QR Clamp at will, since it can be screwed in any of four possible position, incremented by 90° depending on the task.
