| The ND750 modular L bracket comes pre-assembled and is accompanied by one 1/4"-20 captive hex socket screw and two Allen hex keys one for the 1/4"-20 mounting screw and one for the screw that holds the Side Plate. |

| Being modular the ND750 is comprised by a Base plate and a Side plate, which enables the removal of the Side plate when not needed and thus be used as a standard Base plate. The side plate is aligned by means of two SS dowel pins and securely attached by a long hex cap screw. |

| The Base plate and the Side plate dovetails are aligned, therefore there is no need for any re-framing when altering the camera position from a landscape to a portrait orientation or vise versa. The base plate follows a skeletal design eliminating as much mass from the plate as possible. Two convex edges on the front of the base plate are meant to fit the bulge below the lens on the Nikon D750, thus depriving the plate from twisting. In this way the rear side of the base plate is kept flush to the camera body avoiding any interference with the tilting LCD screen. The captive mounting screw runs in a long captive slot enabling the L bracket to be moved away from the camera side as we shall see further down. A strap loop for the attachment of a hand strap is also provided on the base plate right end, which is closer to the camera grip. |

| The ND750 L Bracket fits flush to the camera body, located towards the front of the camera body, avoiding interference with the tilting screen as mentioned before. However, this positioning of the L bracket does not allow the side connector doors to open which may cause frustration to some users. In a similar discussion with Chris Hejnar about this matter in the past he stated that he prefers to offer an aligned base and side plate than providing for side connector doors access. According to his statistics less and less users require access for a remote cable connection as long as WiFi is available for tethered shooting. On the other hand a videographer who would need all the side connectors would seldom shoot in portrait orientation, therefore the side plate may be removed or slid away from the camera body. |

| A bottom view of the mounted Hejnar ND750 L Bracket shows provision for the appropriate clearance from both the camera battery door and the tilting LCD screen.
