What makes the new Metabones L Bracket different from the previous Hejnar solutions is the fact that it attaches directly onto the Adapter body, replacing the adapter foot, thus offering a perfectly aligned and undoubtedly more rigid solution.

| The Hejnar Metabones L Bracket is still modular, allowing for the vertical dovetail plate to be removed at users will, but as we shall see next the base plate features a fixed foot for the Metabones Adapters. As usual the required long screws to mount the plate on the Adapter and all appropriate Allen hex keys are included. |

| A closer look makes evident that the Base plate and the Metabones foot are CNC machined out of a single block of Aluminum. Nevertheless, this means that in order to install the Arca-Swiss compatible Base plate on the Metabones Adapter, the existing tripod mounting foot has to be removed first. |

| Looking at the bottom of the Base plate, we can see that it sports two M3 safety stop screws on either end of the plate and two counter sunk screw holes in a recess. These holes serve for mounting the Base plate on the Metabones Adapter. Matching the design pf all Hejnar L bracket base plates, the open end features a Strap Loop which may become handy for the attachment of a hand strap. |
Mounted directly on the Metabones Adapter
As mentioned above the existing tripod mounting foot has to be removed from the Metabones Adapter first. The appropriate size Allen hex keys are provided.
