Canon has released an updated version of the EOS-M Mirrorless Camera firmware, which greatly improves the much debated AF speed of their otherwise fine compact camera.
Canon has incorporated the following fixes in the new Firmware 2.0.2.
- Improved focusing speed up to 2.3x in One-Shot AF mode.
- Support for the new EF-M 11-22mm f/4-5.6 IS STM wide angle lens.
- Errors correction in the Simplified Chinese, Hungarian, Traditional Chinese and Korean language menus.

And not only in One-Shot AF mode, but in video capture mode as well.
