New Hejnar PHOTO F91b 1.5" Quick Release Clamp with Dovetail Preview

The Hejnar family of quick release clamps was enriched by another member recently.

The new F91b is based on the updated Hejnar PHOTO F61b 1.5" Quick Release Clamp (review) keeping all the characteristics, while adding an Arca-Swiss® compatible Dovetail on the bottom, perpendicular to the axis of the QR clamp jaws.

In this way the dovetail allows the clamp to be mounted inside other clamps switching orientation.

The top side is identical to the F61b QR clamp with decimal scales on both jaws, the safety stop relief grooves and the counter sunk and 3/8"-16 threaded center hole.

Same applies to the tongue in pocket design of the moving jaw guides which guaranty a long term impeccable operation by not allowing dirt and grit entering the clamp interior. The small black knob is also the same, considering the "b" at the end of the model name.

The bottom however, is new since the addition of the dovetail on the 1.5" clamp. The extra dovetail was added below the QR clamp main body, leaving the moving jaw mechanism clear from any intervention.
Nonetheless, there are the usual cavities at the bottom that maintain the weight very low, with very little overhead compared to the F61b.

As standard with all Hejnar Photo products the appropriate screws and tools are included. These are a short 1/4"-20 flat head screw with hex socket and the corresponding Allen hex key.

Compatibility
Arca Swiss® compatibility is a standard for Hejnar Photo products extended to this QR clamp as well regarding both its clamping jaws and the dovetail on the bottom. Hjenar Photo products work with Arca type clamps from:
