The Hejnar PHOTO X-PRO2 modular L Bracket follows the same old concept of the modular Hejnar PHOTO L Brackets like the late Dedicated Modular L Bracket for Fujifilm X-T1, but nonetheless featuring a modified base plate designed to fit the Fujifilm X-Pro2 body.

| The new Hejnar X-PRO2 L Bracket is quite slim with full length dovetails and anti-twist ridges on the base plate quite close in design to the L Bracket for Fuji X-E1 / X-E2 (preview) rather than the last one dedicated to the Fujifilm X-T1 (preview) which features shortened dovetails, placed exactly under the lens and a single anti-twist pin. Centered on the base plate exists a tapped 1/4"-20 hole for direct mounting the camera on a pod without having to remove the bracket. |

| Unlike the other Hejnar L Brackets for the Fujifilm cameras the new X-PRO2 L Bracket does not have the mounting screw placed at the far end of the base plate, but quite further inside. As it is obvious from the Φ index mark at the back side of the base plate, which indicates the lens center axis, this time the camera tripod socket of the FUjifil X-Pro2 is placed exactly in line with the lens axis. A small white line, indicating the lens axis on the vertical L side of the bracket, useful when aligning the lens in portrait orientation. |

| The front right side view of the L bracket shows clearly the grooves on the vertical L side, for the camera strap loop on top and the side connectors door on the inner rear side. The vertical side is held in place by an M4 hex cap screw so it can be easily removed at users will. |

| The Hejnar X-PRO2 L Bracket for the Fujifilm X-Pro2 comes assembled, but following the design of all Hejnar modular L Brackets the vertical plate may be removed. The base plate.has an appropriate socket for the alignment bosses existing on the vertical side plate as shown above. The tapped hole for the attachment screw are in the middle of the alignment socket. |

| The package includes: One assembled L bracket, one 1/4"-20 1/4 inch long captive style screw for mounting the L bracket on the camera, one M4 hex socket connecting screw for the vertical plate and two M3 safety stop screws residing at both ends at the bottom of the base plate. Three Allen hex keys are included each one for each type of screw. As a standard Hejnar feature all screws are made of chromed stainless-steel. |

| the side connectors door, which may be opened fully. Same stands for the left side strap loop having adequate clearance on the top of the L bracket vertical side plate. |

| The bottom view of the mounted Hejnar X-PRO2 L bracket is quite revealing of the base plate structure and design. The safety stop screws and the correct placement of the mounting screw below the lens center axis. Last but not least the base plate leaves the Battery door clear allowing full access to the battery compartment with the L bracket mounted. |
According to Hejnar Photo website, their L Brackets and Quick Release plates dovetails are compatible with Kirk®, R.R.S.®, Arca-Swiss®, and many other Arca-Swiss style QR clamps.
