Quite some time after the introduction of Sunwayfoto Custom L Bracket for Canon 5D Mk IV and Sunwayfoto Custom Plate for Canon 5D Mk IV both previewed last March, Sunwayfoto releases the Custom L Bracket for the 5D Mark IV equipped with the BG-E20 Battery Grip.
Or of course, any third party Battery Grip identical to the Canon BG-E20 in size and shape.
In my opinion Sunwayfoto always takes safe steps in their production without rushing in introducing new products before demand becomes strong.

Standard features shared among the Sunwayfoto plates and L brackets as well as with PCL-5DIVG is precision CNC machining from aircraft-grade aluminium followed by high quality hard coat surface anodizing.
The PCL-5DIVG L bracket as its PCL-5DIV sibling is made of one piece maintaining utmost rigidity. The large bottom plate has convex edges at the front and rear embracing the battery grip preventing the bracket from twisting.
The vertical plate has all appropriate cuttings for the remote release cable and the side connector ports.

Two M3 safety screws are found on either end of the Arca style dovetail.

Unlike the PCL-5DIV model for the un-gripped camera body, is not completely skeletal. Nevertheless, any excess material has been removed from the L bracket bottom, in order to minimize weight. Another differentiation is that the mounting screw slides within a captive slot, that permits movement of the L bracket away from the camera side in order to accept large plugs.
The extra 1/4"-20 tapped hole and the strap mounting hole at one side are still there though. These facilitate for direct mounting on pods and for the attachment of a wrist strap, respectively.

Mounting the Bracket on the Camera
The PCL-5IVDG fits as a glove on the Gripped EOS 5D MkIV as is very explicitly illustrated below, while allowing ample access to the left strap loop...

Package Contents
The package according to quality manufacturer standards except for the PCL-5DIVG L bracket, also includes all necessary screws and tools. In this case 4 x M3 safety stop screws for the bottom and side plates, 1 x 1/4"-20 captive screw and 2 x Allen wrenches 2.5mm for the M3 screws and 4mm for the 1/4"-20 screw respectively. Plus a draw-string accessory bag.
The PCL-5DIVG is compatible with almost all Arca style clamps including RRS lever release clamps.
