After client demand, Hejnar Photo has just introduced a one piece Spigot Adapter Plate with bi-directional Arca style dovetail.
It seems that certain photographers find it more convenient to mount a battery powered Strobe light on a tripod than carrying around extra light stands, while on the go.
Nonetheless, there are spare Spigots in the market with a 3/8" or 1/4" mounting hole, which can easily be attached on an Arca style plate, like the example below.

However. this solution has a drawback since strobes are quite heavy they have a tendency to unscrew the spigot from the plate. So this gave space for the Hejnar solution.

The Hejnar Spigot Adapter, is CNC machined out of one piece high density Aluminium block with standard size Arca-Swiss® and RRS® compatible dovetail all around, so it is bi-directional and can mount on a ball head clamp in any orientation.

The Spigot follows the standard with a flattened area on the sides for better tightening of strobes and lights.

Using the Spigot Adapter
As expected the Adapter base can be clamped on any quick release clamp attached either on a pod directly or on a ball head which can work the angle of a strobe as desired.
