Metabones® Adapters are getting more and more popular with Interchangeable Lens Compact Cameras, since users are able to use their existing lens models coming from manufacturers like Canon and Nikon, with proven high standards.
As I have mentioned in the New Feet and Extenders for Metabones Adapter from Hejnar Photo article, a couple of years ago, current Metabones adapter models do feature a tripod mounting foot, some conforming to an Arca-compatible style. However, there are still some restrictions and limitations faced when users want to combine them with larger diameter lenses, Tilt-Shift lenses or even a Battery Grip.

This latest Hejnar model, differs from previous models as it is comprised of the known Hejnar Z shaped Foot Extension for Metabones 2nd Generation and newer adapters with appropriate anti-twist lips on top and a 4" Base Rail with two parallel captive slots and a strap loop on the front.
The Z shaped foot is attached on the base via two captive screws which allow for fore-aft adjustment.
Further than that the 4" base rail is equipped with two M3 safety stop screws at both ends.
The displacement between the top and base of the Z shaped foot gives the appropriate clearance for using the camera and Metabones adapter with a longer or tilt shift lens and/or a battery grip.
The combination of the Z shaped foot with a longitudinal base rail lets the camera, metabones adapter and lenses be adjusted backward and forward in a similar manner to telephoto lenses equipped with a collar foot.
Despite the shift by the Z shape foot which allows better equipment balance with the Metabones adapter on the camera as mentioned above, the long captive slots on the base rail permit better balance achievement since the vertical foot can be relocated at any desirable position on the base rail.

The package contains one Z shape foot for Metabones adapters, one 4" base rail, one 1/4"-20 - 0.40" long captive style hex mounting screw for the adapter. two 1/4"-20 - 0.50" captive style hex screws for the attachment of foot on the base rail, two M3 safety stop screws pre-installed on the base rail and two Allen hex wrenches for 1/4"-20 and M3 screws.
