End of the year update from Hejnar PHOTO regarding their Dedicated Quick Release Plate for the Canon Powershot compact and/or M Series Interchangeable Lens Compact mirrorless cameras.
According to Chris Hejnar the Hejnar D035 Quick Release plate besides the Canon models M3, M5 and M6 is also verified to be compatible with the Canon EOS M50 and the Canon EOS M100 cameras
The Hejnar D035 much like its sister plates for other compact Canon cameras, is designed to take care of the issue of blockage of the battery compartment, which occurs when using a standard Quick Release plate.

For the record, all Hejnar QR plates are accompanied by two Allen Hex keys, one for the 1/4"-20 mounting screw and one thinner for the one M3 safety stop screw in this occasion.
According to Hejnar Photo and proven by my tests, Hejnar plates are compatible with Kirk®, R.R.S.®, Arca-Swiss®, and many other Arca-Swiss style Quick release clamps.
