Hejnar PHOTO has enriched the Fujinon line of Arca-Swiss® dovetail compatible, replacement feet with the release of the FFR-001 Lens Foot.
This time the Replacement Lens Foot is dedicated to the excellent Fujinon XF 200mm F2 R LM OIS WR.
Unlike the tool-less replacement feet designed for the XF 100-400 and XF 50-140 the new foot resembles more to the design of the Replacement feet for Canon and Nikon lenses featuring four mounting screws.
Nonetheless, it accords to the native design of the specific the lens collar.
The Fujinon XF 200 Foot
The Hejnar Photo FFR-001 replacement foot follows a quite simple design with a flat top surface, with an elevated part which size and shape fits the specific Fujinon lens collar.
It features an almost full length double dovetail allowing for the attachment of flash brackets or other accessories equipped with an Arca style clamp.
Besides the QD socket, extra 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tapped holes are there, for mounting on any pod with either size stud directly.

The Hejnar Photo FFR-001 replacement foot follows a quite simple design with a flat top surface, with an elevated part which size and shape fits the specific Fujinon lens collar.
It features an almost full length double dovetail allowing for the attachment of flash brackets or other accessories equipped with an Arca style clamp.
Besides the QD socket, extra 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tapped holes are there, for mounting on any pod with either size stud directly.
Not passing unnoticed is the laser engraved Hejnar Photo logo, underlined by the "Made in USA" mark to differentiate the quality and the origin of the lens foot.
The bottom side of the FFR-001 lens foot is symmetrically carved eliminating extra mass, where the two tapped holes, one with 1/4"-20 thread and one with 3/8"-16 thread, followed by the QD socket lay in series. Then four socket holes with wider diameter at the bottom are there to accept the four M3 hex socket head mounting screws.
The bottom side of the FFR-001 lens foot is symmetrically carved eliminating extra mass, where the two tapped holes, one with 1/4"-20 thread and one with 3/8"-16 thread, followed by the QD socket lay in series. Then four socket holes with wider diameter at the bottom are there to accept the four M3 hex socket head mounting screws.
Safety-wise, two M3 safety stop screws are pre-installed, one at each end of the foot protecting your lens from falling off a semi closed QR clamp.
The QD socket embedded is made of steel with ferritic nitrocarburizing treatment, making it extra durable having a wear-resistant surface.
Application
The QD system has been used for many years by industries around the world including NASA, law enforcement and military agencies. The design inhibits accidental removal, especially when something is hanging from the strap.
Therefore, you may attach this Hejnar Arca Style replacement foot on the collar of your expensive Sony telephoto lens and then attach your favorite strap to the bottom of the foot for carrying.
The QD socket on the FFR-001 is meant to attach standard push-button QD mount. The mount, may be utilized by a QD Sling Swivel which would enable a sling strap to be attached on your lens.
As all Hejnar products the FFR-001 is accompanied by all necessary screws and tools, which in this case are four longer SS M3 mounting screw, two SS M3 safety stop screws and one Allen Hex key for the mounting screws the safety stop screws.
Compatibility
According to Hejnar Photo the dovetail design and dimensions of the FFR-001 Lens Foot conform fully to the Hejnar Photo standard, therefore compatible with Kirk®, R.R.S.®, Arca-Swiss®, and many other Quick Release clamps that have adopted the Arca-Swiss style.
