The PC-5DsR Arca Swiss® compatible plate was released by the end of July and is already available in the market.
The QR plate is also RRS® lever release clamp compatible, thus the R at the end of the model name.
The PC-5DsR plate has tiny differences from the older PC-5DIII (preview) intended for the EOS 5D Mk III, since the EOS 5D Mk III and the 5Ds / R camera body is exactly the same.

| The PC-5DsR follows the same Sunwayfoto treatment being precision CNC machined from aircraft-grade aluminium with exceptional finishing and high quality surface anodizing. It features convex edges at the front side and a convex ridge at the back, preventing the plate from twisting below the camera. |

| Looking at the bottom we can see the Arca Swiss® compatible dovetail, two tapped holes intended for the M3 safety stop screws at both ends of the dovetail and an extra 1/4"-20 threaded hole for mounting on a pod with a compatible stud without removing the plate. The skeleton design was chosen to optimize weight by removing any excess material. Further, there is also a strap mount slot at one side in order to facilitate the attachment of a wrist strap. |

| In the photo above the EOS 5Ds is clamped on Sunwayfoto DDH-05 Panning Clamp via the PC-5DsR QR plate. However, unfortunately same as with the PC-5DIII plate there is not any Φ index mark on the rear of the plate, marking the lens center. |

Update June 2018:
As of June 11th, 2018 the PCL-5DsR has been declared as discontinued. However, there is still stock in the market and besides that Canon EOS 5DsR body is same as 5D Mk III and 5D Mk IV so the PCL-5DIII or PCL-5DIV L brackets can be used instead.
