Sunwayfoto seems to be the first third-party manufacturer to release a complete replacement foot for the Sigma 150-600 Sports lens, at a price where other support gear manufacturers sell their Arca style lens plates..
The LF-M1 as denoted by the model name is the 1st replacement foot in Sunwayfoto's range customized for Sigma lenses, which promises better stability and versatility allowing easy balancing of the lens due to the integrated Arca-Swiss® compatible dovetail.

The LF-M1 is made by the same Sunwayfoto quality, tight tolerance CNC machining, from lightweight aircraft grade Aluminium blocks, followed by exemplary finishing and satin-black anodizing.

| Sunwayfoto LF-M1 seems quite more elegant than the original Sigma Foot. It is taller with a curved top surface which provides a more comfortable grip when carrying the lens by the foot. The original is rectangular in shape and sits very close to the lens barrel not allowing for large fingers to go easily between, or even for the lens switches manipulation when the lens is turned in portrait orientation within its collar. |

| The bottom surface is completely flat with two M3 safety stop screws, one at each end. Although the LF-M1 offers an Arca style dovetail, it still maintains the three 1/4"-20 tapped holes found on the original foot for mounting the lens directly on a 1/4"-20 stud when no QR clamp is available. The three holes allow for balancing the lens on a pod at different focal lengths, since the lens extends greatly. However, in order to use the front or rear holes, requires the removal of the safety stop screws for proper mounting. |

| According to Sunwayfoto standard practice, the LF-M1 is accompanied by two M3 safety stop screws, four larger screws for mounting the Replacement foot on the lens collar and the appropriate Allen Hex key matching the screw hex cup size. |
Mounting on the Lens
Using the included tools and screw is very easy to detach the original foot and replace it with the LF_M1.

Compatibility
The LF-M1 dovetail geometry follows the latest trend in Sunwayfoto products since its dimensions are compatible with virtually all Arca style clamps including Really Right Stuff® lever clamps.
Somehow, one feature missing in my opinion though, is a top dovetail at least at the front section for the attachment of a Flash Bracket.
