Hejnar PHOTO has quite recently released their D058 Lens Plate for Canon RF 800 /f11 Lens with Dual QD sockets, while now are introducing their complete Replacement Foot for the same Canon RF 800 F/11 IS STM Telephoto Lens.
The Hejnar CRF-007 although resembling many of Hjenar prior models is all brand new made to give a little more air to the small tripod mount on the lens barrel.
So it stands a little higher than the Hejnar D058 Lens plate allowing for better manipulation of the lens controls.

The CFR-007 is very lightweight 87 gr (3.1 oz) just 30 gr more than the lens plate, but nothing considering the increase in functionality.
Unlike the Lens Plate the QD socket is placed in the middle of the base plate with an extra 1/4"-20 mounting screw just in front of it.
The mounting hole that corresponds to the 1/4"-20 socket on the tripod platform on the lens is centered on the raised block on the rear side of the foot with a dowel pin in front of it. The pin obviously matches the alignment hole near the 1/4"-20 mounting socket at the base of the lens tripod platform which takes care of the anti-twisting function immobilizing the lens plate on the lens base. .
The top surface of the Base Plate is flat and the top dovetail reaches just to the raised block and then narrows off towards the rear of the plate.
The bottom side view of the Hejnar CFR-007, reveals the deep carving leaving only a central brace, which hosts QD socket hole and the 1/4"-20 tapped hole for direct mount on any standard size pod stud. Further, two factory installed M3 safety stop screws are found at the ends of the base plate, ensuring there will not be any accidental fall off, due to a semi closed QR clamp.
The base plate extends quite longer at the back of the lens tripod mounting block, thus allowing for ample headroom for balancing adjustment of the camera/lens combo on a tripod head.
Obviously the QD socket on the CFR-007 is meant to be used with a standard push-button QD mount. Which may well be a QD Sling Swivel combined with a sling strap to carry amd/or secure your valuable Canon lens.
As QD systems have been used for many years by industries around the world including NASA, law enforcement and military agencies, ensures utmost safety for your gear. The design inhibits accidental removal, especially when something is hanging from the strap.
Needless to mention that following the Hejnar tradition for QR plates and Lens Plates the CFR-007 is accompanied by required hardware and tools.
In this occasion, one 1/4"-20 SS mounting screw and two Allen Hex keys, one to drive the 1/4"-20 mounting screw and one thinner for the M3 safety stop screws,

Arca Swiss® compatibility is a standard for Hejnar Photo products extended to this Custom Replacement Lens Foot as well regarding both its dovetails on top and the bottom.
