New Sunwayfoto MAP-01 and MAP-02 Adapter Bushings for Manfrotto Ball Heads

Sunwayfoto had released their MAC-14 Manfrotto® RC2 and Arca Compatible Clamp back in 2014 that allowed owners of  the popular RC2 200PL plates keep using them while migrating to an Arca style system. However, an adapter to fit an Arca style clamp on a proprietary Manfrotto ball head was not available from Sunwayfoto then.

It has been a while since Hejnar Photo had lastly introduced the Manfrotto MVH500 Video Head Arca Compatible Conversion Set for the MVH500 A/AH Pro Video Head.

The new set described today concerns a smaller and more compact head from the Manfrotto® 3 way head arsenal, the 460MG pan-tilt head.

A newly released plate by Hejnar PHOTO came to enrich their line of Manfrotto® conversion adapters and custom quick release clamps.

This one is specifically designed for the 501PL, 502, 504, Nitro RC3, RC5 and NG heads featuring the 577 Rapid Connect Adapter.
Although similar conversion M577 plates for Manfrotto® video heads exist in the Hejnar line, these previous Hejnar solutions were modular sets combining a plate with an F63 Arca style Hejnar QR clamp, while the new MF501 has a smaller 1.5" QR clamp integrated into the structure.

In quite a short time from the release of the Manfrotto MVH502 Arca Compatible Conversion Set for the MVH500 A/AH Pro Video head another new conversion set is out by Hejnar Photo.

The new set concerns the smaller from the Manfrotto® video heads, the MVH500 in both its versions the MVH500A with a half ball base and the MVH500AH with a flat base featured in the illustrations here.
