Hejnar PHOTO has recently released their D060 Dedicated Quick Release Lens Plate for another RF mount Canon lens, the Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1L IS USM zoom telephoto lens.

This lens plate is also equipped with one QD (Quick Detach) socket, which becomes a standard feature in many photography support gear nowadays.

Same as its sibling the addition of a QD socket on the replacement foot not only allows for Arca compatible support, but also helps to carry safely the lens around in nature.

As informed by Chris Hejnar, Hejnar PHOTO has enriched their line of Arca-Swiss® dovetail compatible, Replacement Feet for Fujinon XF telephoto lenses with four new models equipped with QD (Quick Detach) Sockets.

Two of these -one standard size and one low profile- are dedicated to the FUJINON XF50-140mm f/2.8R LM OIS WR and another two, -also one standard and one low profile- to the XF100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR.

Another lens plate has come to complement the Hejnar Photo range of plates equipped with a QD (Quick Detach) socket, combining the two worlds of Quick Release and Quick Detach on a rail.

This time the D049 lens plate is meant to support the mighty SONY FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS Telephoto Lens, but also help you to carry it around in nature.

Quite sometime after the introduction of the Innovative Hejnar Photo FQD1 Mini Quick Detach QR Clamp last June, it was about time for Chris Hejnar to combine the two worlds of Quick Release and Quick Detach on a rail.

As I mentioned in the FQD1 preview, neither of these worlds is new, but the combination is indeed. Somehow, further versatility is added to products tested for rigidity and durability for many years, without compromise.

Although Chris Hejnar has released a Replacement Foot for Fuji XF 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 R about two years ago, which actually offers greater integration, some clients required further stabilization of the front part of the lens.

Therefore, a solution of a Long Lens Support combining a longer rail and vertical bracket, came to be stabilizing this longer super telephoto lens.

Metabones® Adapters are getting more and more popular with Interchangeable Lens Compact Cameras, since users are able to use their existing lens models coming from manufacturers like Canon and Nikon, with proven high standards.

As I have mentioned in the New Feet and Extenders for Metabones Adapter from Hejnar Photo article, a couple of years ago, current Metabones adapter models do feature a tripod mounting foot, some conforming to an Arca-compatible style. However, there are still some restrictions and limitations faced when users want to combine them with larger diameter lenses, Tilt-Shift lenses  or even a Battery Grip.

One more lens Foot Replacement from Chris Hejnar was just introduced. It's the Hejnar H127 custom replacement foot for the new generation Canon high end lenses the EF 300 f/2.8 L IS II USM, the EF 500 mm f/4 L IS II USM, and the zoom EF 200-400 f/4 IS USM with 1.4 Extender.

As it is never too late, Chris Hejnar has just introduced Hejnar H126 a custom replacement foot for the older generation Canon EF 500 mm f/4.5 L USM Lens, with a style and length to meet the unfulfilled desires of the classic Canon telephoto lens users.

As I had mentioned in a past article Sigma is one of the few lens manufacturers that had available a replacement foot -compatible with the Arca dovetail standard- simultaneously at the release of their highly regarded 150-600 mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports telephoto lens. But selling at a somehow exaggerated price compared even to the highest premium priced products, fact that made it unattractive to users.

According to Hejnar PHOTO after the recent release of their Replacement Foot for Fuji XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R there was a quite strong pressure from Fuji users for an identical solution for the excellent and very popular FUJINON XF100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR.

Therefore, it was a matter of time for the Hejnar FUJI-100-400-FOOT to be released. This foot just came out last Saturday not only offering an Arca-Swiss® dovetail compatible solution but also added a larger footprint to the somehow tiny original.

The H121 is the second of the two Hejnar Lens Replecement Feet released in November (as mentioned in the previous post).

This one is dedicated to the extra bright telephoto coming from Canon the EF 200mm F2 L IS USM.

Replacement Foot for Canon EF 300 f/2.8L IS II USM from Hejnar PHOTO

November was the month of Lens Replacement Feet at Hejnar PHOTO. As their line of Arca-Swiss® dovetail compatible collar replacement feet for telephoto lenses has been extended with a couple of new models.

First came the Hejnar H122 Replecement Foot dedicated to the improved Canon the EF 300mm F2.8L IS II USM. The second iteration (Mark II) of an already excellent lens for which the Replacement Foot for Canon EF 300 F2.8 L had been released a couple of years ago.

Hejnar PHOTO has just expanded its lines of Arca-Swiss® dovetail compatible, replacement feet with the release of their first model dedicated to a Fujinon lens this time.
It is the Hejnar FUJI-50-140-FOOT which by its descriptive model name indicates a Replacement Foot for the excellent Fuji telephoto zoom lens, the FUJINON XF50-140mm F2.8R LM OIS WR.

Up to now, many supplemental devices have made their appearance in the straggle of adding Arca-Swiss compatibility to the collar feet of long telephoto lenses. We have seen simple rails with arca dovetail, evolving into Lens Plates with stop bars, further evolving into Lens Replacement Feet for better integration.
Some of these combined with longer rails and vertical brackets, came to stabilize longer super telephoto lenses forming Long Lens Support Brackets.
