But selling at a somehow exaggerated price compared even to the highest premium priced products, fact that made it unattractive to users.

Sigma Corporation has announced availability of its world's first f/1.8 constant aperture 18-35mm zoom lens which belongs to the new generation of Art class lenses.

Similar in build, appearance and quality with the recently released  Sigma 35mm F1.4 DG HSM |A and the 30mm F1.4 DC HSM |A, the Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 DC HSM |A is the first wide-angle to standard zoom lens to achieve a large aperture of f/1.8. Designed specifically for APS-C sized sensors, on a Canon EOS APS-C sensor camera 18-35mm translates to 28.8mm-56mm equivalent on a 35mm camera.
