A complete catalogue covering most Hejnar Photo Macro Stand Hardware was recently released.

It is the outcome of great effort by Murray O Neill who collected and put together macro stages from different camera manufacturers, combined with Hejnar Photo support gear.

The changes concentrated in the handling of the Lead Screw where enlarged knobs and scales make the movement of the sliding carriage easier and more precise.

Hejnar Introduces SCV Panorama Package 2018 Updated with New Rails

Old readers may remember my article and my endeavor to Create Multi Row Panorama Head Ver. II back in November of 2011. Nonetheless, this was already an improvement of an earlier version introduced one year earlier in November 2010. A new and very innovative modular lens support bracket was just released by Hejnar Photo under the model name MOD-6 LLSB. Actually the new LLSB is unique and original.

It is based on the reviewed Hejnar PHOTO Modular Lens Support Bracket MOD-1 with its 2" body rail but with a modified U shape lens supporting bar featuring 1.15" diameter wheels placed in a completely different manner than any other lens supporting Yoke or LLSB.

New Lens Plates with 1/4"-20 Hex Slotted D-Ring Screw from Hejnar PHOTO

Starting with the M1D-325 Lens Mounting Plate with Removable / Adjustable Ridge, Hejnar Photo is introducing a new series of lens plates with new mounting screw option.
This is a Hex-Socket screw but with a larger diameter head. The head has also a slot and a D-Ring for the user to choose the most convenient way to tighten it.

New Sunwayfoto QRS-01 Hinged D-Ring 1/4"-20 Screws Preview

As said many times, up to now I wasn't very fond of D-Ring or any type of 1/4"-20 thread screws other than the simple ones with a hex socket head.

When mounting a camera plate or fixing a heavier rail requires some extra torque when tightening the screw. Nonetheless, this can only be attained using an Allen hex key. The hex key, due to its shape can provide that little extra torque required to secure a plate in place firmly.

Sometime after the release of their first Macro Focusing Rail the Sunwayfoto MFR-150 Wormdrive Macro Focusing Rail with Lever Clamp, Sunwayfoto has introduced a sister model with almost only difference the quick release clamp type integrated on the carriage.

The newer Sunwayfoto MFR-150S is equipped with a classic Screw Knob QR clamp instead of the Lever Release Clamp. Thus the S at the end of the model name. Otherwise there are no noticeable differences between the two.
