Hejnar PHOTO besides the successful  Universal Camera base plates and L Brackets is also engaged with dedicated plates and L Brackets for Nikon cameras and quite recently have  released a series of dedicated Arca-Swiss® compatible L Brackets for the SONY NEX family of mirrorless cameras.
Addressing the SONY's top model NEX 7 the Hejnar PHOTO SN-7 Modular L Bracket follows the concept of the Modular Universal Camera L Bracket previewed a few months ago, but with a dedicated camera base plate and a dedicated L Side plate.

New Universal L Bracket Base from Hejnar PHOTO

A new addition to the Hejnar PHOTO line of Universal Camera L Base plates has been released recently. The new L base plate with model name L Base 4 follows the concept of the Modular Universal Camera L Bracket presented a few months ago, for which it is actually intended.
The new plate dimensions and characteristics are almost identical to the existing Base 3 with the exception of the longitudinal captive slot, which has been replaced by 6 parallel small captive slots running front to back.
This attribute may solve the problem of proper attachment of the base plate when the tripod socket is set off center  on the camera base.

Neither the idea of a camera L bracket is new nor the idea of a two piece modular L bracket. Not even the idea for a Universal camera L bracket, as all are with us for a long time now.
However, there is always space for innovation for restless minds.
