New Sunwayfoto QRS-01 Hinged D-Ring 1/4"-20 Screws Preview

Sunwayfoto QRS-01 Hinged D-Ring 1/4"-20 SS Screw

As said many times, up to now I wasn't very fond of D-Ring or any type of 1/4"-20 thread screws other than the simple ones with a hex socket head.

When mounting a camera plate or fixing a heavier rail requires some extra torque when tightening the screw. Nonetheless, this can only be attained using an Allen hex key. The hex key, due to its shape can provide that little extra torque required to secure a plate in place firmly.

New Mini Hinged D-Ring 1/4"-20 Screws from Desmond

Desmond Mini Hinged D-Ring 1/4"-20 Screw
To say the truth, up to now I wasn't very fond of D-Ring or any type of 1/4"-20 thread screws other than the simple ones with a hex socket head.

Mounting a camera plate or fixing a rail requires some extra force which can only be attained using an Allen hex key. The hex key, due to its shape can provide that little extra torque required to fix a plate in place securely.

Nevertheless, there are users that prefer a simpler and easier way to mount a plate without being in need of an extra tool, which may be lost in the field or forgotten at home.
