Early Morning at Rio - Antirio Bridge Halfway Through

Choosing the old ferry transfer which lasts about 20' is a way to relax for a while from driving. But it also proved a mean to capture the Rion-Antirrion Bridge and its pillar reflection in the sea against the early morning sun rays, which otherwise wouldn't have been possible.

Sitting on the 7 km long sandy beach of Skala* one early August afternoon, I soothed my gaze into the deep green and blue waters of the Ionian Sea. The contrasty bright white cloud formations gathering above the mainland were a great incentive to let my laziness go and reach for my camera.
